Just this past week, a Richmond Judge approved a $100,000 settlement arising out of the wrongful death of a bicyclist who was struck by a hit and run driver in Richmond’s West End. Aubrey Ford, an attorney for the family of the deceased, called the $100,000 settlement “woefully inadequate,” but said it represented the total limits of available insurance coverage in the case.
